The Chinese zodiac is a cycle of 12 animals which are supposed to be personified by the characteristics they supposedly symbolize. It is said that each animal has a good time and bad time during its year, but it's also made clear that these are generalizations. Which means there are also times when two or more animals share the same good or bad time period. This ambiguity has allowed for an extremely long list of popular characters to take on all 12 animal identities over the years, not only helping make them even more attractive to people who belong to different cultures than their own, but giving kids plenty of variety in their playtime as well. The following list is of all incarnations of the 12 animals. Each character is listed by name, followed by their characters' respective year, meaning that there are actually many different people called "Goldilocks", since the two are the same person.The film opens with a woman standing at a window. A cuckoo clock can be seen on the wall behind her. She hears footsteps, and turns around to see who is coming up behind her. A man is walking toward her, and she asks him what he wants. He asks her to marry him at the same time he asks for a favor from her, but she refuses to grant both requests. He agrees to leave without either, but he says he will return at noon for another arrangement.The woman wakes up to find herself in an unfamiliar house with a dark-skinned man lying next to her on the bed. He sits up before leaving through a different door then returns with fresh towels, bottles of shampoo and conditioner that smell good. As he leaves again, he leaves a pair of slippers on the bed. The next morning, she receives a letter from him, explaining that she is his wife and he is known as "Mr. Lee" to all staff. She calls him a "shaman", and wonders why everyone looks so happy around her, despite being completely unfamiliar with them all.As the boy walks from his house toward school, his father asks why he is not going with his brother to play soccer today. His daughter asks him to buy candy at the shop down the street instead of staying home. The boy agrees, and his father calls after him, "It's a school day." As he goes into the store, a man approaches him and asks if he will be attending a wedding that day instead. He assures him that he is going to an academic conference on marriage equality. The man says that while he'd like to attend, his wife is going to see her mother instead.
